Exit devices shall be heavy-duty type exceeding ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 (2001). To be low-profile, surface mounted touch bar X61 Series as manufactured by ERVOS, Inc. Single doors to be mortise type with concealed latchbolt.

Pairs of doors to have surface mounted vertical rods with beveled protective covers. Top and bottom rods operate by gravity; both rods are to function independently. In order to be compatible with ADA door closers, latchbolts and top/bottom bolts shall be retracted by 5 lbs. or less when depressing touch bar.

Outside pull handle and trim to be cast or forged.
